Our Hurghada diving boat is part of what makes a day with Dive UK Hurghada special. There is time to meet your instructor, prepare for the dives and enjoy being out on the Red Sea. We put comfort and safety ahead of filling every available place.
Our Hurghada diving boat: licensed for 40, limited to 30
Although our boat is licensed for 40 people, we take a maximum of 30 guests per trip. Many local boats are licensed for around 30 to 40 people. We choose to limit guest numbers so everyone has more room and a more comfortable day.
That limit applies to the guests on the boat. It does not mean that everyone dives together. Your underwater group and instructor are arranged separately, according to the activity and the booking.
Small dive groups on a comfortable boat
On our normal guided daily diving, we work with a maximum of four qualified divers per instructor. This gives your instructor time to get to know you and understand how you feel in the water. Meet our experienced instructors and tell us about your experience before your trip.
Our discounted organised group packages have a different arrangement, with six to eight divers per instructor. We explain the arrangement for your booking in advance. A boat day is a shared experience; a full private charter is a separate service and quote.
Safety equipment on our Hurghada diving boat
Our boat carries the necessary safety equipment, together with a satellite phone and VHF radio. These communication options support the crew when coordinating the day and responding to an emergency.
We also tow a Zodiac. This smaller boat supports drift dives and can be used in an emergency when appropriate. The crew and instructors decide how it is used according to the dive plan and conditions.
Before diving, listen carefully to the briefing and ask about anything that is unclear. Knowing where to go, how the dive will run and how to communicate with the team is part of preparing for your day.
What to expect on your boat day
Your instructor explains the planned dives and helps you prepare. Between dives, there is time for lunch, a drink and a chat about what you have seen. The day is about enjoying the water without feeling rushed.
Bring your certification details, any equipment you plan to use, a towel and suitable sun protection. Let us know in advance if you need hire equipment. We confirm collection details and the arrangements for your particular trip before you join us.

Make more of your diving holiday
Our daily diving and five-day packages give qualified divers time to settle into the routine and explore a variety of sites. A five-day package includes two guided dives each day. The price is £325 for one diver, or £300 per person when two book together for five consecutive diving days.
Air, weights, boat lunch, marine fees and local transfers within two kilometres of our facility are included. Equipment hire is extra: £100 per person for five days; dive computers are separate. See our current diving prices for other group sizes and transfer areas.
