A speciality is a chance to spend proper time on a skill. You might want to stop worrying about your buoyancy, understand your equipment better or feel more comfortable trying a different kind of dive. Tell us what you want to improve, so we can make your training useful to you.

We normally teach two students per instructor. Suitable family groups can learn together with up to four students, within the limits of the chosen course. Because requirements differ between specialities, we check everyone’s experience before confirming the arrangements.

Your PADI Master Instructor gives clear demonstrations and honest, patient feedback. Above all, ask questions whenever you need to. We want you to leave with more confidence and a better understanding of your diving, as well as a sense of achievement.

PADI speciality courses in Hurghada — your questions answered

How long do PADI speciality courses in Hurghada take?

Nitrox, Drift and Peak Performance Buoyancy take one day each. Deep, Wreck, Underwater Navigator, Sidemount and Self-Reliant take two days each. Night Diver runs over two evenings. We confirm your schedule when booking, and progress and conditions can affect the arrangements.

What does the From £250 pp price mean?

It is the per-person price for one Nitrox, Drift or Peak Performance Buoyancy course when four people book and train together. The same course costs £280 for one person, £270 each for two or £260 each for three. It is not a package of all three courses.

Can I take a speciality straight after Open Water?

Some specialities are suitable for Open Water Divers, while others need further training or experience. First, tell us your qualification and recent dives. Then we can check the course requirements and help you decide whether more diving practice would be useful.

Is an Adventure Dive the same as a speciality course?

No. An Adventure Dive introduces you to an activity, while a full speciality gives you more focused training in that subject. If you enjoyed an Adventure Dive during your Advanced Open Water course, ask us about continuing with the relevant speciality.

Can I book more than one speciality during my holiday?

Yes, we can discuss a plan around your interests, qualifications and available time. However, each course has a separate price and requirements. Contact us before booking travel so we can agree a realistic schedule with time to enjoy your diving.

Are all speciality courses taught from the boat?

The setting depends on the course and its practical requirements. We confirm the shore, boat or classroom arrangements before you book. Therefore, please do not assume that every course is a boat trip or follows the same daily timetable.

Are equipment and PADI e-learning included?

Yes. The speciality prices shown include equipment, PADI e-learning, certification, marine fees and taxes. Transfers are included within 2 km of your activity facility. Boat course days include a light lunch and refreshments; shore days do not include lunch.

How do I book and pay?

Contact us with your chosen course, dates, qualifications and accommodation details. The course deposit is £200 per person, paid by Wise or bank transfer. We then send your e-learning with instructions. Pay the remaining balance in cash on the first morning of your activity; we do not accept cards.
