PADI SEAL Team Hurghada
Our PADI SEAL Team Hurghada course turns learning to scuba dive into a series of enjoyable pool challenges for children aged eight and over. Your child works through five AquaMissions over three days, building basic skills and confidence with a PADI Master Instructor.
No previous scuba experience is needed, although your child should be comfortable in the water. If they enjoyed Bubblemaker, SEAL Team gives them a structured next step with more time to practise.
Children under 15 learn one-to-one, unless they choose to learn with their parent, brother or sister in a suitable family group. We never place them with unrelated people. We explain each step clearly and give your child time to feel comfortable before moving on.
For children under 16, a parent must attend at least the first day. Depending on behaviour and progress, you may also need to attend days two and three. Please keep those days flexible.
Build confidence through five AquaMissions
SEAL Team is about learning good habits while having fun in the pool. Your child practises basic scuba skills such as breathing underwater, clearing water from a mask and using their regulator. Each AquaMission builds on what they have already learned.
We take time over the briefing, equipment and practice. Our PADI Master Instructors listen to your child, answer questions and repeat explanations when needed. Finishing quickly is never more important than understanding the skills.

PADI SEAL Team Hurghada: parents’ questions
Does my child need to do Bubblemaker first?
No. Children aged eight and over can join SEAL Team without previous scuba experience, provided they are comfortable in the water. Bubblemaker can be a useful first taste, but it is not a prerequisite.
Is SEAL Team taught in the sea?
No. The AquaMissions take place in a swimming pool under instructor supervision. This gives your child a controlled setting to practise and gain confidence.
Can my children learn together?
Children under 15 normally learn one-to-one. The exception is learning with their parent, brother or sister, where the group is suitable for their ages and abilities. We never add unrelated people. A parent must attend at least day one for any child under 16, and further attendance may be required.
What comes after SEAL Team?
After the five core AquaMissions, your child can continue with Master SEAL Team’s speciality AquaMissions. SEAL Team is a pool programme, not an Open Water qualification. From age 10, children can take the full PADI Junior Open Water Diver course. We will help you decide whether your child is ready and explain the course requirements.
