Snorkeling in Hurghada is available only to companions of divers booked on the same dive boat. We do not run standalone snorkelling trips or accept snorkel-only bookings.

You must be able to swim. Standard snorkelling does not include a guide. An optional snorkelling guide is £35 extra; please arrange this with us before your trip.

Above all, safety comes first. Tell us about your swimming ability and any concerns before booking, so we can discuss whether the day is suitable for you.

Who can join snorkeling in Hurghada?

Travelling with someone who has booked diving with us? If you can swim, you can enquire about joining their boat day as a snorkelling companion.

However, this is a dive boat, so snorkelling places are only for companions of the divers on board.

We agree any extras with you in advance. There are no unexpected charges at the end of your trip.

What is included?

Your mask, snorkel and fins are included, with a life jacket available if required.

Boat lunch, light refreshments, water, tea and coffee are also included. Please bring a refillable water bottle.

A snorkelling guide is not included in the standard price.

Safety comes first — you must be able to swim

Your safety, the safety of our team and the other guests come before everything else. For this reason, all snorkelling guests must be able to swim. A life jacket or an optional guide does not replace this requirement.

Before entering the water, listen carefully to the crew’s briefing and follow their instructions. Stay within the area they identify for snorkelling, and speak up if you feel unsure or uncomfortable. Never feel pressured to enter the sea.

In addition, keep your distance from marine life and avoid touching or standing on coral. Enjoy the reef with care, so others can enjoy it too.

Your day snorkeling in Hurghada

Join your diving companions for a full day on the Red Sea. The boat day is usually around eight hours, with time at two reef sites, lunch and a chance to relax between stops.

Because this is a diving boat, the schedule follows the divers’ day. We will explain the arrangements when you enquire, including whether the planned trip is suitable for your group.

Meanwhile, the reef offers plenty to look at from the surface. You may see colourful fish and coral, but wildlife sightings and visibility vary with the conditions.

Plan your place on the boat

First, tell us which divers you are joining and your preferred date. Also let us know how many adults and children want to snorkel, and whether you would like the optional £35 guide.

Transfers are included within 2km of the activity facility. If your hotel is farther away, we will quote any transfer supplement before you book.

For family or group requests, speak to us about the arrangements. Then we can confirm your places and the total cost.

Questions about snorkeling in Hurghada

Can I book a snorkelling trip without a diver?

No. We only accept snorkellers who are accompanying divers booked on the same boat. We do not offer standalone snorkelling trips.

Do I need to be able to swim?

Yes. You must be able to swim to join us for snorkeling in Hurghada. This also applies if you use a life jacket or book an optional guide.

Is a guide included for snorkeling in Hurghada?

No. Standard snorkelling is unguided. However, you can arrange an optional snorkelling guide for £35 extra. Please request this before the trip.

Can children join their diving family?

Children who can swim can enquire about joining family members who have booked diving on the same boat. Please tell us their ages and swimming ability before booking, so we can discuss suitability.

What should I bring?

Bring swimwear, a towel, sun protection and a refillable water bottle. We provide a mask, snorkel and fins, with a life jacket available if required.
