Daily diving in Hurghada: plan your days on the Red Sea

Wondering what a day on the dive boat is really like? Daily diving in Hurghada brings together two guided dives, lunch on board and time to enjoy the Red Sea. Here is how we help you choose your diving days, prepare for your trip and feel at home with our team.

Our trips are for qualified divers, with a maximum of four divers per PADI Master Instructor. Whether you are newly qualified or have years of experience, we take time to understand what you enjoy and what support you need.

We welcome guests from the UK, Europe, the USA and around the world. You can speak with our owner before booking and expect a warm welcome from our British-owned and managed team.

Daily diving in Hurghada: a sample itinerary

These are typical timings, rather than a fixed timetable. Your hotel location, weather and the day’s arrangements can affect pickup and return times. We confirm your pickup before your trip.

1. Hotel pickup, around 7:30–8:00 am

Your pickup time depends on where you are staying. Have your diving essentials ready and bring a refillable water bottle, so you can top it up throughout the day and stay hydrated.

2. Welcome aboard and boat briefing

Meet the team and settle onto the boat. We give you a boat briefing and choose the dive sites that morning, taking the weather, conditions and the group’s experience into account. Then we set sail.

3. Your first dive briefing and checks

Once we arrive, your instructor explains the site and the dive plan. You then have time to get ready, ask questions and complete your final equipment and buddy checks before entering the water.

4. Enjoy your first dive

Dives are usually around an hour, but duration depends on air use and the agreed dive plan. There is no pressure to stay down for a set time. Your instructor looks after the group while you enjoy the reef.

5. Lunch and time to relax

Back on board, we usually have lunch between the two dives. Enjoy the break, top up your water bottle and chat about what you have seen. It is also a good time to ask your instructor any questions.

6. Briefing, checks and your second dive

Before the next dive, you receive another briefing and have time to prepare and complete your checks. We follow the same careful approach throughout the day, with your comfort and safety coming first.

7. Back to Hurghada, usually 3:00–4:00 pm

After the second dive, we head back to Hurghada. We usually arrive between 3:00 and 4:00 in the afternoon. Your hotel transfer follows, so please allow some flexibility if you are making evening plans.

Choosing your daily diving in Hurghada package

A single day is a lovely introduction to the local reefs. However, a longer stay gives you more time to settle into the boat routine, explore a variety of sites and enjoy being underwater.

We particularly recommend four or five days if you want diving to be a real part of your holiday. The more time you spend in the water, the more opportunities you have for a memorable wildlife encounter, although sightings are never guaranteed.

Tell us what interests you. We aim for variety across your trip, while choosing suitable dives around conditions and the divers with us.

Book together and make more of it

The more days you book and the more divers who book together, the lower the published daily rate can be. Four divers booking a five-day package pay £250 each for ten guided dives, or £1,000 for the group, before equipment hire or extra transfers.

Package days are consecutive unless we agree otherwise before booking. If you would like a rest day, tell us while we plan your dates so we can explain the arrangements and full price.

Solo divers and couples are just as welcome. You do not need to organise four people to join us.
