How your two-dive refresher day works
Your refresher is a two-dive day from shore, with plenty of time to ask questions and settle back into diving. We help you get your weighting right, work on your trim and practise the skills you would like to revisit, at a pace that feels comfortable.
On the second dive, you can also visit the wreck: a superb dive to look forward to, when conditions and your comfort allow. Equipment is included if needed, along with cylinders, weights, marine fees and taxes.
It is a relaxed way to brush away the nerves, enjoy being underwater again and prepare for the boat days ahead.

This gives you time to get comfortable with your equipment, practise what you have refreshed and build a routine. As you feel more at ease, you can spend more of your attention enjoying the reef and the experience of being underwater again.
This is our suggested holiday plan, adapted to you. Your instructor will discuss your progress and choose suitable dives around your training, confidence and the conditions. There is no pressure to move faster than you are ready for.
Your gentle return, step by step
First: talk it through and refresh
Have a chat with our owner before booking. We will ask about your diving history and help you prepare. During your refresher, take time to ask questions and revisit the things that feel rusty.
Boat day one: settle into the routine
Meet your instructor, listen to the briefing and take your time preparing. Your first boat day after the refresher is an opportunity to put things into practice with support beside you.
Boat days two and three: practise again
Repeated diving gives you more opportunities to use familiar skills and talk through anything you want to improve. We keep the pace comfortable and choose suitable sites for the group.
Boat day four: enjoy how far you have come
Give yourself another day to enjoy the reefs and continue building confidence. Afterwards, we can help you think about keeping your skills fresh and planning your next diving adventure.
Four divers to one instructor
Our guided diving groups have a maximum of four qualified divers per PADI Master Instructor. That gives us time for individual questions, clear briefings and personal attention throughout the day.

These prices show a one-day refresher followed by four days of guided boat diving. All amounts are GBP per person, based on the number of divers booking and diving together.

The combined total is the refresher plus four boat days. Package days are consecutive unless agreed otherwise before booking.
What is included, and what costs extra?
The four boat days include two guided dives each day, cylinders, weights, lunch on board, marine fees and taxes. Transfers are included for accommodation within 2 km of the facility used for your activity.
Equipment: included if needed for the refresher. For the following boat days, full scuba kit hire is £25 per day; a dive computer is separate. Tell us what you need so we can confirm the full cost. Transfers from accommodation farther away are also quoted before booking.

What if I have forgotten the basics?
