Ghost Fishing UK
Dive UK Hurghada has donated to Ghost Fishing UK in the past and we still very much support the charity and the work it does.
Ghost Fishing UK is a charity whose trained volunteer divers recover abandoned, lost and discarded fishing gear from UK waters. Nets, lines and other equipment can continue trapping marine life long after they have been lost.
The charity surveys reported gear and plans its safe recovery, working with the fishing community and recycling recovered materials where possible. It is specialist work that helps remove hazards from the marine environment.
If you would like to see their work or make a donation directly, please visit the Ghost Fishing UK website.
