There is no need for everyone to begin at the same level. We can combine suitable courses, refreshers and guided diving, with time to relax together. Nobody needs to rush to keep up or take part before they feel ready.
Private family diving in Hurghada

Our guided diving standard is a maximum of four divers to one instructor. We confirm the right arrangements for your family’s ages, activities and experience. Larger families or different training needs may require additional instructors. Private arrangements are quoted before you book.

Refresh together and rebuild confidence
Already qualified but a little out of practice? Start with a two-dive refresher day from shore. There is time for questions, getting your weighting and trim right, and practising the skills you want to revisit.

Dive together and keep learning
For qualified families, shared reef dives can become the highlight of the holiday. We choose suitable dives around everyone’s qualifications, age limits, recent experience and the conditions that day.
You can also include further learning from our PADI course catalogue. After any course, we suggest a couple of days on the boat to put new skills into practice and enjoy the Red Sea. Different family members can work towards different goals.
Family diving in Hurghada with younger children
For children under 15, one-to-one teaching is our standard unless they choose to learn with a parent, brother or sister. We never place them with unrelated learners. This makes family learning a particularly personal experience.
A parent must attend at least the first day for children under 16. Further attendance may be needed as the course progresses. We discuss this with you before booking, so your holiday has the flexibility your child needs.
Safety always comes first with us
A happy family holiday starts with feeling cared for. We explain the plan clearly, allow time for equipment and buddy checks, and listen when someone needs reassurance or a break.
Diving together does not mean ignoring individual needs. We follow the youngest or least experienced diver’s applicable limits when planning a shared dive. Your instructor will confirm suitability, supervision and any separate arrangements before the activity.

Family diving Hurghada: daily and package prices
These standard guided-diving prices are in GBP per qualified diver, based on the number of divers booking and diving together. Boat days include two guided dives. Equipment hire is additional if required. Private family instruction and mixed course bookings are quoted separately.
Daily rates: 1–3 days
Choose one, two or three days at the daily rate. Multiply the price below by your number of diving days.

Package totals cover four or five diving days. Equipment hire and any additional transfers are separate.
What is included, and what costs extra?
Guided boat days include cylinders, weights, lunch on board, marine fees and taxes. Transfers are included for accommodation within 2 km of the facility used for your activity. Share your hotel details so we can quote any additional transfer cost.
Full scuba kit hire is £25 per day or £100 for five days; a dive computer is separate. Package days are consecutive unless agreed otherwise before booking. Accommodation, flights and a refresher are not included in these boat-diving prices.

More days, more shared memories
Four qualified family members booking five boat days pay £250 each: £1,000 for ten guided dives per person, before equipment hire or additional transfers. The more people booking together and the more days you choose, the lower the published daily rate can be.
For a course, refresher or private instructor, ask us for a family quote. We explain exactly what is included, and agree any changes to services before adding a cost. No hidden extras or surprise charges.
What will your family’s boat day look like?
Expect a morning hotel pickup, a warm welcome and clear briefings before heading out to the reefs. Between dives, there is lunch on board and time to swap stories. Sites are chosen around the weather and the divers with us.
