Dive UK Hurghada Instructors bring years of Red Sea experience, patient teaching and personal attention to your diving holiday. Our two permanent Master Instructors have guided thousands of divers in Egypt and taught hundreds of courses. They know that looking after people matters just as much as knowing a dive site.

Meet our permanent Master Instructors
Our instructors are a permanent part of Dive UK Hurghada. Both have many years of diving experience and bring the practical knowledge that comes from guiding divers and teaching courses day after day in Egypt.
Both hold the appropriate licences for their work and work legally within the diving industry in Hurghada. Their experience includes managing liveaboards, where planning, organisation and looking after divers throughout a trip are essential. Today, they prefer land-based diving and use that experience to help our guests enjoy relaxed, well-organised days on the Red Sea.
For you, that means an experienced team who take time to understand the person behind the certification card. A recently qualified diver, someone who feels nervous and a regular visitor may all need something different from their instructor.
How our instructors look after you
Good diving starts with a conversation. Before you get in the water, our instructors want to understand your qualifications, recent diving and anything you would like help with. Clear briefings explain the dive plan, the site and how the group will work together.
In the water, the aim is to help you feel settled and enjoy the dive. If you need extra time with your buoyancy, a little reassurance or a reminder of a skill, speak to your instructor. We value patient guidance and a comfortable pace.
We plan suitable diving around your training, experience and the conditions on the day. You can read more about our small-group approach or discuss a private instructor when you book. Group sizes depend on the activity and package you choose, and we explain the arrangements before you confirm.
Patient teaching, from your first dive
Learning is easier when you feel able to ask questions and practise without being rushed. Our instructors have taught hundreds of courses and understand that different students learn at different speeds.
If you are new to diving, we can help you choose between a Try Scuba Experience and the PADI Open Water course. Tell us how much time you have and what you would like to achieve.
Experienced guidance for qualified divers
Guiding thousands of divers in Egypt has given our team experience with a wide range of abilities and interests. They help you make the most of your diving while staying within your training and agreed dive plan.

Helping students become instructors
We have also helped many students take the next step towards becoming diving instructors through the Instructor Development Course, or IDC. Supporting people as they build their confidence and work towards a professional diving career is a part of our work we are proud of.
