PADI Deep Course Egypt: Why deeper diving deserves careful preparation

A deeper reef or wreck can be tempting, but depth changes the decisions you need to make. Gas use, available no-decompression time and your response to a problem all deserve more attention. Our PADI Deep Course Egypt helps you build that awareness through guided training, rather than treating 40 metres as a target to reach on every dive.

Your PADI Master Instructor explains the plan before you enter the water. Afterwards, you discuss what you noticed, how you managed the dive and what to improve next time. Small groups give you time to turn unfamiliar ideas into practical habits.

What you learn on the PADI Deep Course Egypt

The course develops gas planning, buoyancy, buddy awareness and an understanding of nitrogen narcosis. You learn to think ahead about the dive and recognise when the sensible decision is to change the plan or end it.

Good control matters as much as depth. Staying aware of your position, instruments and buddy helps you avoid unnecessary task loading. Your instructor gives individual feedback throughout the training, with time to ask why each check matters.

Four dives over two days

Our programme includes four dives over two days: the first day from shore and the second on the boat. Complete the included eLearning before practical training so you arrive ready to focus on the dives. We send the materials after your booking and deposit.

Training may reach a maximum of 40 metres within the course limits, your progress and suitable conditions. This is recreational deep-diving training, not a planned decompression course. Certification follows only when you meet all requirements.

Check your starting point

The minimum age is 15. You need Adventure Diver, Advanced Open Water or a qualifying certification. Send us your qualification and recent diving experience so we can check your readiness. For divers under 16, a parent attends at least the first day and further days if needed.

If your buoyancy feels rusty or you have been away from diving, tell us before booking. Some practice beforehand may be a better starting point. We explain any additional training and cost before arranging it.

Small groups and experienced instructors

We normally teach two students per instructor. Suitable families can learn together in groups of up to four, subject to each person meeting the course requirements. Children under 15 learn one-to-one unless they choose to train with a sibling or family member.

Our instructors have years of experience helping divers progress, including people who feel nervous about a new challenge. We explain, listen and give useful feedback. If further training is needed, we discuss the time and cost before arranging it.

Make your course part of a diving holiday

Take your PADI Deep Course Egypt as part of a diving holiday with us. We can bring your course, accommodation, transfers and extra diving into one personally arranged plan. Tell us your travel dates and what you would like from the holiday.

We confirm the items and costs included in your own package before you book. You can also book the course on its own if you have already arranged accommodation. Send the hotel details so we can check transfer arrangements.

Stay for two more days on the boat

Use the extra days to practise calm descents, buoyancy and thoughtful dive planning on suitable guided dives. Every dive stays within your qualification, experience and the conditions; extra boat diving does not mean every dive will be deep.

Explore our daily diving programme and ask us to add two days to your quote. Extra boat diving is booked separately from the course. We agree suitable dates around training, your progress and your travel plans.

PADI Deep Course Egypt: your questions

Does the course mean every dive is to 40 metres?

No. Forty metres is the maximum training depth, not a promise or a goal for every dive. Your instructor chooses suitable profiles within course limits and conditions.

Is deep diving the same as decompression diving?

No. This course develops recreational deep-diving skills. Planned decompression diving requires separate training and suitable equipment.
